Space-Saving Sink Drain
This fully stocked sink drain kit is engineered so the drain pipes can adjust around dishwashers, disposals, and odd sink shapes.
Everyone knows that the waste drain and P-trap in a vanity or sink base cabinet don’t exactly optimize cabinet storage. To make the plumbing less intrusive, the drain tube can be redirected right after it leaves the basin, with the P-trap installed closer to the back wall of the cabinet rather than in the center.
This is a smart workaround that many plumbers are familiar with but rarely implement, because it requires parts that must be sourced individually rather than as part of a ready-made kit. And if you’ve ever seen the inside of a plumber’s van, you know that stocking components for every potential scenario isn’t realistic.

That’s where the new Dearborn (an Oatey brand) Space-Saving Sink Drain Kits come in. These code-compliant kits are engineered to simplify this exact installation challenge. Each one includes unique telescoping arms that allow for both vertical and horizontal adjustments, minimizing the need for pipe cutting while preserving (or even improving) drain performance compared to standard P-trap setups.
The kits come in configurations to accommodate dishwashers, disposals, and both single- and double-bowl sinks. They debuted at the 2025 show and will be available later in 2025 at prices ranging between $15 and $36 depending on the configuration.
